Located in the western part of the island of Gozo, it provides an alternative site for the Blue Hole.
It is a giant Caverna that cuts into the western wall of the reef to a depth of about 50m. The bottom of the caverna is at 27m, while its ceiling is at 15m, making it an accessible site for both beginner and intermediate divers. In the depth of the cavern there is an additional chamber which, due to its height from the bottom as well as the possibility of lifting the bottom sediment, is accessible only to advanced divers.
In the cavern you can often find the resident Crawfish(Scyllarides) from the crawfish family animal.
